I tested this completely including all buttons, recording, and playback. Everything is working as it should!

Battery comes as is due to it''s age. That said, I fully charged the battery and let it sit for over a week. After a week it was still fully charged, and performed perfectly during my testing with no significant drop. By all accounts it appears to be in good shape with minimal usage
